About Me

Michalis Wheeler studied at the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM), where he qualified in 2005—and from that moment on, he never looked back!

With over 20 years of hands-on experience as a Massage Therapist, Michalis has worked with clients from all walks of life and a wide range of physical backgrounds. His practice is built on understanding how the body moves, adapts, and recovers, whether you are highly active or completely new to exercise.

As a passionate runner himself, Michalis has a deep understanding of running-related injuries, performance limitations, and movement inefficiencies. He has studied running biomechanics extensively and uses this knowledge to help clients move more efficiently, reduce injury risk, and improve overall performance.

Over the years, Michalis has developed his own effective treatment style, combining Sports Massage and Myofascial Release to address both acute issues and long-term imbalances. He also incorporates Dry Cupping as an additional tool to support recovery, improve mobility, and enhance physical performance when appropriate.

Whether your goal is to maintain your body, recover from injury, improve performance, or simply move and feel better day to day, Michalis tailors each treatment to your individual needs. Whatever type of exercise you do—or even if you don’t—Michalis is committed to helping you feel stronger, move better, and live with less pain.

I have competed in a wide range of races over the years, from 5Ks to full marathons, and I continue to challenge myself with new goals—perhaps even an ultramarathon in the future. While half marathons are my preferred distance, I work with runners across all distances and ability levels.

Whether you are training for your first event or preparing for a major race as an experienced runner, I can support your performance and recovery. Regular sports massage plays a key role in maintaining tissue health, addressing minor issues early, and helping prevent common training-related problems from developing into injuries.
